Marginal Goals as of 30 September

At this link you find the ranking of the best and the worst European teams ordered by what I call the "Marginal Goals".
It is a measure to indicate of how well or bad a team performs, in terms of goals scored and conceded, compared to the other teams of the same league.
No wonder that currently the best team is Barcelona, with 17 goals scored and 0 conceded in 6 matches of the Primera División.

Here is how I calculate it.
For each of the 10 main European football leagues, I take the global averages of the goals scored and conceded (which are the same, of course).
Then I multiply the average by 1,25 to obtain what I call the Goals Scored Limit (GSL), and divide the average by 1,25 to obtain the Goals Conceded Limit (GCL).
Finally, I calculate for each team how many goals they scored more or conceded less on each match, compared to the GSL and the GCL, and sum the two results to obtain the Marginal Goals Score.

Example:
The English Premier League average number of goals is 8,45 (169 total goals divided by 20 teams).
The GSL is 8,45 * 1,25 = 10,56
The GCL is 8,45 / 1,25 = 6,76
In 6 matches played, Chelsea scored 19 goals and conceded 7.
The Marginal Goals Score for Chelsea is ((19 - 10,56) + (6,76 - 7)) / 6 = 1,37

The final score can also be negative. Example:
The Italian Serie A average number of goals is 6,15 (123 total goals divided by 20 teams).
The GSL is 6,15 * 1,25 = 7,69
The GCL is 6,15 / 1,25 = 4,92
In 5 matches played, AC Milan scored 11 goals and conceded 9.
The Marginal Goals Score for AC Milan is ((11 - 7,69) + (4,92 - 9)) / 5 = -0,15
